We love Fashion Week! We have been keeping up with all the new style and colour trends on the New York and London runway over the past month and we are feeling inspired! With famous designers such as Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton and many more, we were up to our eyes trying to keep up with it all.
Our favourite part about Fashion Week is the influential colours used throughout the shows, we love to take inspiration from them while designing and creating our fabrics!
New From New York
Leanne Marshal wowed us with her love of colour. Getting inspiration for her designs by simply looking out for things on her commute to and from work is inspiring and it’s great to see that creativity can spur from anything! With her flowing tropical bright pink, green and yellow designs she certainly knows how to catch the eye?
These designs remind us of our Splash, Bella and Vitra range where you can get just about any colour of fabric that you can think of. With these ranges, you can choose rich majestic colours such as Port and Indigo or you could go for more bright and bold colours such as Kiss, Ruby and Sun.

Loves From London
When it comes to colour, red is one of the more daring colours to pick, whether it’s from your wardrobe, from your lipstick collection or the colour you choose to design your home in, but it is definitely a trending colour for the upcoming seasons!
Designer Antonio Berardi dressed one of his models in red from head to toe and she certainly stands out. If you too want to aim for that vivid colour, The Fabric Box has lots of red tones to choose from. One of our favourite is Vitra Flame which can be presented as either a block out roller blind or vertical.
Another memorable collection from the London runway was by Marques Almeida; bold reds, vibrant yellows and bright oranges combined with quirky patterns for that extra wow factor. Zig zag stripes made an appearance and can be recreated in the home with Mezza Lava from The Fabric Box collection.
Seasonally diverse, florals were a consistent feature at London Fashion Week. We loved this rich looking dusky blue and red jacket by Erderm which could be worn all year round! Florals in the home add a botanical feel; choose a soft delicate floral for a sweet interior or opt for a bright wild floral for a bolder look.

We have so many more designers that we love to look at for inspiration but these are just a few. Keeping up with New York and London fashion week and seeing the amazing designs come down the runway always get our creative juices flowing for the designing of our fabrics for The Fabric Box. We are already excited for AW18 Fashion Week!
